Objective
The objective for enhancing the Aunty SG app is to create a more intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies navigation and integrates new services seamlessly. This redesign aims to improve user interaction, helping the app stand out in a competitive market.
Challenges
Designing for users aged 30 to 50 presents challenges such as varying tech-savviness, potential visual impairments, and a preference for straightforward functionality. To address these, the design should emphasize simplicity with clear labels, larger touch targets, and legible fonts. Conducting user testing with this demographic will provide valuable insights to ensure the design is intuitive and accessible.
Roles & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the complete UI/UX design of the application, overseeing the process from initial conceptualization and wireframing to high-fidelity design. Additionally, I actively participated in the quality assurance of the developed product. I collaborated closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and engineers to ensure that the design details were accurately implemented in the final application.
About
The app serves as a seamless platform connecting parents with trusted babysitters, making childcare arrangements easy and stress-free. Parents can browse through a list of available sitters, review profiles, and send or manage booking requests all within the app. On the other side, babysitters can receive job requests, accept bookings, and track their earnings effortlessly. With user-friendly features for both parents and sitters, the app streamlines the entire process, ensuring a reliable, efficient, and convenient experience for everyone involved.

Sitters can view their requests and acceped jobs via the app. They can also track their earnings via the transactions page.
